The small business market has ended 2015 in a slightly better state than which it started. According to the Australian Institute of Business Brokers market sentiment survey, all of the states were at a neutral setting, suggesting more of an equilibrium between a buyers and sellers’ market. This indicates some improvement in the market, particularly in the mining sates of WA, QLD and the NT that had lower market sentiment at the beginning of the year, being in firmly favour of buyers. “On the ground, brokers are reporting patchy results, though the majority confirm more purchaser enquiry.
